The infinite rays of
Luce Brunello
Our tribute to the lands of Montalcino and its winemaking traditions.
Of the 92 hectares of vineyards owned by Luce della Vite, 11 are registered in the “Albo del Brunello di Montalcino.”
This is where the Sangiovese for Luce Brunello is born. This wine is our tribute to this excellent wine born in Montalcino in the second half of the 19th Century. It was the first wine in Italy to achieve, in 1980, the Denominazione d’Origine Controllata e Garantita. Today it is one of the emblems of Made in Italy fine wines.
Luce Brunello di Montalcino thus continues a journey of the highest quality inspired by this unique territory and the great wines that are born here.

An all natural bond with the land.
The Madonnino vineyard.
The Sangiovese grapes, mainly from the vineyard called 'Madonnino' ideal for exposure and soil composition (galestro), fully express the perfect combination of structure and elegance in the wine with a powerful and seductive style.
Experience in what we do
At the heart of the property lies a pulsating heart. A heart that beat after beat marks the moments that give life to the wine. This is our cellar, where matter evolves and transforms, and where time is the time of wine.
During the harvest, the ripe fruits arrive in the cellar from every single parcel. Each phase is respectful of the integrity of the fruit. The selection of the grapes is followed by the fermentation process with indigenous yeasts and the soft pressing.
After the vinification it is time to wait. Weeks, months, years go by slowly in the barrel room while the wine rests and evolve into its own.
Man becomes a respectful interpreter of what nature has given him, in the incessant search for balance that evolves in the Cellar.
Knowing how to wait is an art.
From the grape to the bottle, man accompanies wine.
At Tenuta Luce, the respectful work of man has been able to preserve the fruits of a rich and generous nature, interpreting and enhancing the uniqueness of a terroir known the world over.
